"Warmth in Winter, Love Connects the Community – Fun Coffee Joins Hands with Community Leaders to Visit Underprivileged Elderly in Dau Tieng District"
On December 28, 2025, a heartwarming and caring community event took place in Dau Tieng Community, Son Dai Town, Dau Tieng District, Ho Chi Minh City. The event was initiated by the Fun Coffee team, in collaboration with leaders from multiple departments and volunteers, to visit and extend kind greetings to underprivileged elderly residents in the community, bringing them warmth and New Year blessings.
On the day of the event, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc My - Chairwoman of the Dau Tieng Commune People's Committee, personally led the delegation. Other participants included Ms. Hoang Thi Yen - Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Sports and Physical Education; Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu - Director of the Cultural and Broadcasting Center of Dau Tieng Commune; Ms. Bui Thi Thuy Trang - Head of the Sports Club in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City; and Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Anh - in charge of Fun Coffee’s Dau Tieng District, along with team leaders. Together, they formed a compassionate and dynamic volunteer team.
During the event, volunteers prepared a variety of cultural performances for the elderly. Melodious singing, lively dances, and traditional musical performances created a warm and joyful atmosphere. The elderly residents smiled throughout the performances, as if reliving their youthful days. These vibrant performances not only enriched their spiritual lives but also conveyed society’s respect and care for them.
In addition to the cultural performances, the Fun Coffee team and representatives from various sectors presented the elderly with carefully prepared gifts and financial support. These gifts included daily necessities, nutritious food, and warm clothing, aimed at improving their quality of life. Though modest, the financial support represented the deep compassion of the community for vulnerable groups, allowing the elderly to feel tangible warmth during the cold winter.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc My, Chairwoman of the Dau Tieng Commune People's Committee, expressed during the event, "Caring for the elderly is a social responsibility and a duty for every one of us. We extend our gratitude to the Fun Coffee team and all sectors for their support, making this event a success. We hope such initiatives will raise more awareness about vulnerable groups in the community."
Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Anh, Responsible for Fun Coffee’s Dau Tieng District, added, "As a community-rooted enterprise, Fun Coffee always upholds the principle of giving back to society. Through this event, we aim not only to provide material assistance to the elderly but also to offer them emotional companionship and encouragement."
This event was more than just a simple visit—it was a collective demonstration of social compassion and responsibility. While receiving the gifts, the elderly residents’ eyes sparkled with tears of gratitude. Many expressed that this care made them feel the warmth of the community and filled them with hope for the future.
Through this initiative, the Fun Coffee team and community leaders embodied the people-centered philosophy with practical actions, showcasing a beautiful vision of shared development between enterprises and the community. Moving forward, Fun Coffee will continue to dedicate itself to social causes, promoting more initiatives to support vulnerable groups and contributing to the building of a harmonious community.
